CVAA volunteers and Senior Companions can assist you with a variety of everyday tasks like grocery shopping or yard work. Our Friendly Visitors offer companionship
and conversation. Bringing a bright smile, volunteers are glad to be there for you when you need them.
 
Are your feeling lonely? Would you like someone to visit with? Is grocery shopping becoming difficult or do you need a ride to a doctor's appointment? CVAA volunteers can help you. Volunteers and Senior Companions provide companionship and support to area seniors through one-on-one visits.
 
Volunteers:

  • Provide companionship
  • Grocery shop
  • Organize paperwork or belonings
  • Do yard work/snow shoveling
  • Go on outings
  • Balance a checkbook
  • Provide computer tutoring
  • Complete handyman tasks
  • Help seniors prepare a budget
  • Provide transportation
