We Need Your Advice and Input
CVAA has established five goals:
- help seniors live as independently as possible
- provide information about available options
- promote public awareness of aging issues
- support programs that promote healthy lifestyles
- advocate on behalf of policies that address basic needs.
With the proliferation of providers of aging services – including governmental, nonprofit, and for-profit business enterprises, CVAA’s role becomes more critical still. In our information and assistance, and case management programs CVAA’s role is unique in that we see it as our obligation to help seniors and caregivers fully understand what services are available and how to make these services responsive to individual circumstances.
To meet these goals and the needs of the people we serve, CVAA has prepared a proposed service plan for the years 2007 through 2010. A summary of the plan is posted here for your review. We need and welcome your thoughts, comments and suggestions. Feel free to contact us at info@cvaa.org.
