90% of seniors face a nutrition related chronic disease or condition such as diabetes, heart disease, or high blood pressure

July 1 - “The Race Against Hunger”, a kids go-karting event for children ages 3-7. NASCAR themed race held on the Church Street Marketplace
March 11- The 2nd Annual Driving Force Endurance Race in Brossard, Quebec. Brain Hoar and his fellow NASCAR drivers took to the track to raise money for Meals on Wheels.
March 22- Mayors April Jin of Vergennes and Clement Bissonnette of Winooski delivered Meals on Wheels
April 20- The Vermont premiere of “Racing Against the Clock”. This film profiles 5 senior Olympians ranging in age from 50-82.
May 25- Champlain Sunset Wine Reception at the Echo at the Leahy Center for Lake Champlain. Featured Vermont vineyards, gourmet treats, live music and a celebrity auction.
